NH Personhood Bill Defeated!
New Hampshire House Bill 1333-FN sought to give personhood rights to embryos and fetuses under the guise of âprotecting womenâ. The bill would have made it a first degree murder offense to secretly provide abortion inducing medication to a pregnant person. The proponents of this bill failed to consider that such actions are already a crime in New Hampshire - as they should be - and already punishable with incarceration in the state prison.
Advocacy Committee Vice Chair and former AllPaths Board Member Catherine Tucker testified against this bill, and the Judiciary Committee unanimously recommended that the bill not pass; this recommendation was adopted by the full House of Representatives.
ďťżWhile HB 1333-FN will not be moving forward this session, AllPaths will continue to be involved in New Hampshire with another personhood bill, HB 1590, that will be reviewed by the same committee.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month đ
Did you know that endometriosis affects 1 in 10? For many in our family building community, this condition is more than just âbad periodsâ - itâs a complex journey that can impact fertility and quality of life.

⢠Learning to live with symptoms that shouldnât be ânormalâ
You are not alone. Your pain is valid. Your struggles are real.
Whether youâre diagnosed, suspecting, or just starting to question if your symptoms arenât ânormalâ - we are here for you.
Weâll be highlighting some of our favorite endo resources, organizations, and advocates on our socials this month, but to start here are a few upcoming to check out!

About the MIND program & their womenâs health initiative:
ďťż
ďťżDr. Staci Gruber, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, launched the MIND program at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA in 2014. MIND is the first program in the nation dedicated to clarifying the longitudinal impact of medical cannabis (MC) use on important health-related measures, including aspects of mental health, physical health, cognitive function, and quality of life.
The goal of MIND is to examine the unique effects of cannabis and specific compounds found within the plant, with the ultimate goal of maximizing therapeutic benefits and minimizing potential harms. Through the Womenâs Health Initiative at MIND (WHIM), Dr. Gruberâs research lab is specifically exploring cannabinoids for womenâs health and disorders that disproportionately or exclusively impact women or some trans and non-binary individuals, including several studies for endometriosis. If youâre reading this, you are likely standing at a crossroads trying to envision a future family built through donor conception. Maybe youâre feeling overwhelmed, shocked, or simply unsure if this is the right next step for you and your family.
Itâs common for people just starting out to be more focused on the emotional side of things rather than the medical nuts and bolts. Surrogacy in 2026 and Beyond
By Janene Oleaga, Esq.
With some negative press about gestational surrogacy lately, it can be easy to lose sight of the extraordinary gift that surrogacy truly is. Sensational stories grab headlines, and scandal sells more subscriptions than the quiet, beautiful news of a baby being born. Surrogacy has become so familiar that the remarkable act at its core â a woman choosing to carry and give birth to a child so another couple can become parents â is often treated as routine rather than the profound generosity and humanity that it represents. What should inspire awe is no longer treated as newsworthy.
